[687] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is misapprehension (parāmāsa) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: misapprehension is a condition for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by presence condition.
Postnascent: misapprehension is a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body by presence condition.
A phenomenon that is not misapprehension is a condition for a phenomenon that is not misapprehension by presence condition: conascent, prenascent, postnascent, nutriment (āhāra), faculty (indriya). (Abbreviated.)
