[634] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with hindrances (nīvaraṇa-sampayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from hindrances (nīvaraṇa-vippayutta) by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascence (sahajāta), postnascence (pacchājāta). (Abbreviated.) A phenomenon dissociated from hindrances is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from hindrances by dissociation condition: conascence, prenascence (purejāta), postnascence. (Abbreviated.) A phenomenon dissociated from hindrances is a condition for a phenomenon associated with hindrances by dissociation condition: prenascence: the base (vatthu) is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) associated with hindrances by dissociation condition.
