[204] A phenomenon (dhamma) conascent with mind (cittasahabhū) arises conjoined (saṃsaṭṭha) with a phenomenon conascent with mind, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): two aggregates (khandhā) conjoined with one aggregate conascent with mind; with two aggregates … ; rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). A phenomenon not conascent with mind (no-cittasahabhū) arises conjoined with a phenomenon conascent with mind, by root condition: mind (citta) conjoined with the aggregates conascent with mind; rebirth-linking. A phenomenon conascent with mind and a phenomenon not conascent with mind arise conjoined with a phenomenon conascent with mind, by root condition: two aggregates and mind conjoined with one aggregate conascent with mind; with two aggregates … ; rebirth-linking. A phenomenon conascent with mind arises conjoined with a phenomenon not conascent with mind, by root condition: the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates conjoined with mind; rebirth-linking.
