[245] A phenomenon (dhamma) conjoined with and originated by mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna) is a condition, by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon not conjoined with and originated by mind: These are similar to the mind-coexistent dyad (cittasahabhu-duka), with no difference. All three are postnascent; two are single-rooted (ekamūla); one combination (ghaṭanā). … is a condition by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya): nine.
