[254] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and arisen together with mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhānasahabhū), there arises a phenomenon that is conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and arisen together with mind, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): dependent on one aggregate (khandha) that is conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and arisen together with mind, two aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates …; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa) … As is the dyad on what is conjoined with mind and originated by mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna-duka), even so is this dyad, without any difference.
