[255] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and occurring along with mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhānānuparivatti), there arises a phenomenon conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and occurring along with mind, by root condition (hetu-paccaya):
Dependent on one aggregate conjoined with mind, originated by mind, and occurring along with mind, two aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa) … As with the dyad of [phenomena] conjoined with mind and originated by mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna-duka), so it is with this dyad too — there is no difference.
The Dyad of [Phenomena] Conjoined with Mind, Originated by Mind, and Occurring along with Mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhānānuparivatti-duka) is finished.
