[327] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not derived (no-upādā) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not derived by way of postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya):
Postnascent (pacchājātā): non-derived aggregates (khandhā) are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) non-derived body (kāya) by way of postnascence condition.
The root should be asked (mūlaṃ pucchitabbaṃ).
