[347] Dependent on a clung-to phenomenon (upādinna dhamma) there arises a clung-to phenomenon, not by prenascence condition (na-purejāta-paccaya):
In the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), dependent on one clung-to aggregate (khandha), three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on one clung-to aggregate, three aggregates and kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) [arise] — as far as the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta).
Dependent on a clung-to phenomenon there arises a not-clung-to phenomenon (anupādinna dhamma), not by prenascence condition:
Dependent on clung-to aggregates, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises].
Dependent on a not-clung-to phenomenon there arises a not-clung-to phenomenon, not by prenascence condition:
In the immaterial [plane], dependent on one not-clung-to aggregate, three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … Dependent on not-clung-to aggregates, mind-originated form [arises]; [dependent on] one primary element (mahābhūta) — as far as the non-percipient beings — temperature-originated [form] (utu-samuṭṭhāna).
Dependent on a clung-to phenomenon and a not-clung-to phenomenon there arises a not-clung-to phenomenon, not by prenascence condition:
Dependent on clung-to aggregates and primary elements, mind-originated form [arises].
… Not by postnascence condition (na-pacchājāta-paccaya): not by repetition condition (na-āsevana-paccaya).
