[501] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a defilement (kilesa) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not a defilement: conascent (sahajāta), asynchronous (nānākhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) that is not a defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandha) and for forms (rūpa) originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna).
Asynchronous: volition that is not a defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates and for forms due to kamma having been performed (kaṭattā).
A phenomenon that is not a defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for a phenomenon that is a defilement: volition that is not a defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for the defilements.
