[502] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a defilement (kilesa) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a defilement by kamma-result condition (vipāka-paccaya): one. … is a condition by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya): three; is a condition by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya): three; is a condition by absorption condition (jhāna-paccaya): three; is a condition by path condition (magga-paccaya): nine; is a condition by association condition (sampayutta-paccaya): nine.
