[108] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a mental factor (cetasika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is a mental factor by way of kamma-result condition (vipāka-paccaya): nine. It is a condition by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya): nine. It is a condition by way of faculty condition (indriya-paccaya): nine. It is a condition by way of absorption condition (jhāna-paccaya): three. It is a condition by way of path condition (magga-paccaya): three. It is a condition by way of association condition (sampayutta-paccaya): five.
