[753] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not of the form sphere (na-rūpāvacara), a phenomenon that is not of the form sphere arises, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā):
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) that is not of the form sphere, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on the aggregates, the base (vatthu) [arises]; dependent on the base, the aggregates [arise]; [dependent on] one great primary element (mahābhūta) … as far as the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā). Dependent on the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), there arises delusion accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness.
