[857] In the not-root (na-hetu) condition there are two (vāras); in the not-object (na-ārammaṇa) condition, three; in the not-predominance (na-adhipati) condition, five; in the not-proximity (na-anantara) condition, three; in the not-decisive-support (na-upanissaya) condition, three; in the not-prenascence (na-purejāta) condition, four; in the not-postnascence (na-pacchājāta) condition, five; in the not-repetition (na-āsevana) condition, five; in the not-kamma (na-kamma) condition, two; in the not-result (na-vipāka) condition, five; in the not-nutriment (na-āhāra) condition, one; in the not-faculty (na-indriya) condition, one; in the not-jhāna (na-jhāna) condition, one; in the not-path (na-magga) condition, one; in the not-association (na-sampayutta) condition, three; in the not-dissociation (na-vippayutta) condition, two; in the not-absence (no-natthi) condition, three; in the not-disappearance (no-vigata) condition, three.
