[114] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (adukkhamasukhā vedanā) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon that is a root and is associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): nine (ways).
