[115] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (adukkhamasukhā vedanā) is a condition, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is a root and is associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling: object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
