[1175] An unwholesome phenomenon (akusala dhamma) associated with taints (āsava-sampayutta) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for an unwholesome phenomenon associated with taints. (Three.) An unwholesome phenomenon dissociated from taints (āsava-vippayutta) is a condition, by root condition, for an unwholesome phenomenon associated with taints.
