[1196] Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a taint (āsava) and associated with taints, there arises an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a taint and associated with taints, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is associated with taints but not a taint, there arises an unwholesome phenomenon that is associated with taints but not a taint, by root condition: three. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a taint and associated with taints and on an unwholesome phenomenon that is associated with taints but not a taint, there arises an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a taint and associated with taints, by root condition: three.
