[1637] Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba), there arises an unwholesome phenomenon that is to be abandoned by seeing, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing (na-dassanena-pahātabba), there arises an unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing, by root condition.
