[1641] An unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabba) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for an unwholesome phenomenon that is to be abandoned by seeing. An unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing is a condition, by root condition, for an unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing.
