[168] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is neither a result nor productive of results (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), there arises a phenomenon that is not a root and is neither a result nor productive of results, not by kamma condition (na-kammapaccayā): three.
