[226] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is not-clung-to and not conducive to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root and is not-clung-to and not conducive to clinging by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
