[213] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root and not clung to but subject to clinging by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
