[239] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is defiled and subject to defilement (saṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root and is defiled and subject to defilement by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) — nine.
