[274] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu), accompanied by thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra), there arises a phenomenon that is not a root, accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought — not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā): two [ways].
