[38] An unwholesome phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (hetu) is a condition for an unwholesome phenomenon that is not a root by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya). An unwholesome phenomenon that is not a root is a condition for an unwholesome phenomenon that is a root by kamma condition. An unwholesome phenomenon that is not a root is a condition for an unwholesome phenomenon that is a root and an unwholesome phenomenon that is not a root by kamma condition. Three.
