[531] A neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee (nevasekkhānāsekkha) phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) is a condition for a neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee phenomenon that is a root by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
