[401] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva dassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabba) is a condition, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is a root and is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development; is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
