[598] Dependent on a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) with an exalted object (mahaggatārammaṇa), there arises a not-root phenomenon with an exalted object, not by way of root condition (na-hetupaccayā). Dependent on a not-root phenomenon with an exalted object, there arises a root (hetu) phenomenon with an exalted object, not by way of root condition.
