[844] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu) and has an internal object (ajjhattārammaṇa), there arises a phenomenon that is not a root and has an internal object — not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā). In dependence on a phenomenon that is not a root and has an internal object, there arises a phenomenon that is a root (hetu) and has an internal object — not by root condition.
