[666] Dependent on (paṭicca) a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and is fixed in wrongness (micchattaniyata), a phenomenon that is a root and is fixed in wrongness arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is a non-root (na-hetu) and is fixed in wrongness, a phenomenon that is a non-root and is fixed in wrongness arises by root condition: three.
