[842] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and has an internal object (ajjhattārammaṇa), there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has an internal object, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a root and has an internal object, there arises a phenomenon that is not a root and has an internal object, by root condition: three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is a root and has an internal object and on a phenomenon that is not a root and has an internal object, there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has an internal object, by root condition: three.
