[1036] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) associated with roots (hetusampayutta) that is a root (hetu), a phenomenon that is not associated with roots (na-hetusampayutta) and is not a root (na-hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Three. Dependent on a phenomenon dissociated from roots (hetuvippayutta) that is a root (hetu), a phenomenon that is not dissociated from roots (na-hetuvippayutta) and is not a root (na-hetu) arises by root condition.
