[1435] Conditioned by (paccayā) a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not immaterial (na-arūpī) and is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa), an immaterial (arūpī) phenomenon that is accompanied by conflict (saraṇa) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
