[395] Dependent on a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) not associated with painful feeling (na-dukkhāya vedanāya sampayutta) and a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (na-adukkhamasukhāya vedanāya sampayutta), a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with pleasant feeling (na-sukhāya vedanāya sampayutta) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with painful feeling and a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling, a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with painful feeling arises by root condition. Dependent on a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with painful feeling and a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling, a not-wholesome phenomenon not associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling arises by root condition.
