[469] Dependent on a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) that is not both-a-root-and-rootless (na-hetuñceva-na-ahetukañca), a not-root phenomenon that is not both-a-root-and-rootless arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Even up to the question section (pañhā-vāra), one. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a not-root (na-nahetu) and is not both-rootless-and-a-not-root (na-ahetukañceva-na-na-ca-hetu), a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not both-rootless-and-a-not-root arises by root condition.
