[473] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a not-root (na-nahetu) and is not without conditions (na-appaccaya), a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not without conditions arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not without conditions, a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is not without conditions arises by root condition.
