[482] Dependent on a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) that is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa), a not-root phenomenon that is not accompanied by conflict arises by root condition (hetupaccayā): nine. Dependent on a not-root phenomenon that is not without conflict (na-araṇa), a not-root phenomenon that is not without conflict arises by root condition. Dependent on a not-root phenomenon that is not without conflict, a phenomenon that is not a not-root (na-nahetu) and is not without conflict arises by root condition. Dependent on a not-root phenomenon that is not without conflict, a not-root phenomenon that is not without conflict and a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not without conflict arise by root condition.
