[736] Dependent on an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya), a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon that is not clung-to and subject to clinging (na-upādinnupādāniya) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on an indeterminate phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging, a not-unwholesome (na-akusala) phenomenon that is not clung-to and subject to clinging arises by root condition. Dependent on an indeterminate phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging, a not-wholesome phenomenon that is not clung-to and subject to clinging and a not-unwholesome phenomenon that is not clung-to and subject to clinging arise by root condition.
