[846] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is not-clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon that is not clung-to and subject to clinging (na-upādinnupādāniya) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Three. Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon that is not-clung-to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya), a not-wholesome phenomenon that is not not-clung-to and not subject to clinging (na-anupādinna-anupādāniya) arises by root condition.
