[753] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) without applied thought and without sustained thought (avitakka-avicāra), a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon that is not without applied thought and without sustained thought (na-avitakka-avicāra) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā): three.
