[858] Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is with applied thought and sustained thought (savitakkasavicāra), a not-unwholesome (na-akusala) phenomenon that is not with applied thought and sustained thought (na-savitakkasavicāra) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
