[828] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that has an external object (bahiddhārammaṇa), a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon that does not have an external object (na-bahiddhārammaṇa) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
