[98] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a fetter and not unfavorable to fetters (na-saññojanañceva-na-asaññojaniyañca), a phenomenon that is not a fetter and not unfavorable to fetters arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a fetter and not unfavorable to fetters, a phenomenon that is not unfavorable to fetters and not a not-fetter (na-asaññojaniyañceva-na-no-ca-saññojana) arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a fetter and not unfavorable to fetters, a phenomenon that is not a fetter and not unfavorable to fetters and a phenomenon that is not unfavorable to fetters and not a not-fetter arise by root condition.
