[183] And what, bhikkhus, is an act in concord (samaggakamma)?
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion and one announcement (ñattidutiya-kamma), as many bhikkhus as are entitled to take part in the act have come, the consent (chanda) of those entitled to give consent has been conveyed, and those present do not protest — it is an act in concord. If, bhikkhus, in an act with a motion and three announcements (ñatticatuttha-kamma), as many bhikkhus as are entitled to take part in the act have come, the consent of those entitled to give consent has been conveyed, and those present do not protest — it is an act in concord.
This, bhikkhus, is called an act in concord.
