[192] Bhikkhus, if a Saṅgha with a bhikkhu undergoing probation (pārivāsika) as its fourth member should grant probation (parivāsa), should send back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassanā), or should impose penance (mānatta); or if, with that one as its twentieth member, it should rehabilitate (abbhāna) — that is not a valid act and is not to be done.
Bhikkhus, if a Saṅgha with a bhikkhu deserving to be sent back to the beginning as its fourth member should grant probation, should send back to the beginning, or should impose penance; or if, with that one as its twentieth member, it should rehabilitate — that is not a valid act and is not to be done.
