[41] Now at that time the feet of the Venerable Pilindavaccha were cracked. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow an ointment for the feet (pādabbhañjana)." It did not improve. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a foot-salve (pajja) to be compounded."
