[241] Bhikkhus, when possessed of three further factors, an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not making amends for an offense (āpatti) is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Discipline, and one well settled: it is done after having accused him; it is done after having made him recall; it is done after having charged him with the offense. Bhikkhus, when possessed of these three factors, an act of suspension for not making amends for an offense is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Discipline, and one well settled.
