[301] Also because it is possessed of three further factors … it is carried out after [the accused] has been made to recall (sāretvā), it is carried out in accordance with the Dhamma, and it is carried out by a united [Saṅgha]. Bhikkhus, [an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not relinquishing an evil view] possessed of these three factors … [is a legitimate act, an act in accordance with the discipline, and well settled.] …
