[291] Bhikkhus, an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not relinquishing an evil view (pāpikā diṭṭhi) that possesses three factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma and an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and is well settled: it is done in the presence [of the accused]; it is done with questioning; it is done with his acknowledgment. Possessing these three factors, bhikkhus, an act of suspension for not relinquishing an evil view is an act in accordance with the Dhamma and an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and is well settled.
