[393] "And thus, bhikkhus, should it be given.
That bhikkhu Udāyī should approach the Saṅgha, arrange his upper robe over one shoulder, pay homage at the feet of the senior bhikkhus, sit down on his heels, raise his joined palms, and say thus:
'Venerable sirs, I have committed one offense (āpatti) of intentional emission of semen (sañcetanikā sukkavisaṭṭhi), concealed for five days. Venerable sirs, I request from the Saṅgha probation (parivāsa) of five days for that one offense of intentional emission of semen, concealed for five days.'
A second time it should be requested; a third time it should be requested."
